Thomas Brink joins the team as partner. The announcement is part of the firm’s expansion strategy aiming to improve assistance to clientes demand, in particular German companies, and further strengthen the firm’s current Corporate Law and Mergers and Acquisitions areas.

Graduated in Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP), 1997, he has an Master Degree (LLM ) in International Banking Law from Boston University School of Law, 2000. Thomas was an International Associate at Shearman & Sterling, in Frankfurt, in 2001.

With extensive experience in Corporate Law, M&A and Real Estate operations, Thomas was a consulting and audit trainee at Big Four and served as an associate and partner in medium and large firms in São Paulo and in Frankfurt. With great practical sense, combining legal knowledge with the business reality, he advised clients of different sizes in merger and acquisition transactions, shareholders’ agreements, joint ventures and corporate reorganizations in the most diversified market segments. He has extensive experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, such as distribution contracts, commercial representation, products and services supply, automotive sector contracts, property sales and purchases, construction contracts, leasing, build to suit, EPC contracts (Engineering, Procurement and Construction), among others.
